Having worked with a number of inspiring large non-profits, we developed a self-promotion strategy by which we would reach out to some others we aspired to work with. Realizing that mobile was a major evolving focus for most non-profits, we decided to connect with them on that topic. The simple concept: ironically develop powerful, framed print pieces to send to our points of contact that demonstrate a creative take on “their cause + our mobile expertise.” The goal: get something in their hands that isn’t easily disposable or forgettable and that is fun for them to own and share, whether they’re able to work with us or not; and get it on their office wall (hopefully) to establish a constant, subtle reminder that we’re there if they need us.
